AI and Compliance for Finance Leaders
NetSuite readiness, responsible AI Adoption and an AIVER T&E case study
This session examines how finance and audit leaders can use AI to support compliance monitoring while maintaining accountable review and reliable evidence. Participants will distinguish rule-based testing, machine-learning anomaly detection, and generative AI, and evaluate the data, access, and workflow conditions needed in NetSuite. Discussion will cover use-case selection, output validation, privacy, and oversight of AI-assisted work. An AIVER travel and expense (T&E) case study will illustrate how to assess findings and supporting evidence.
Learning Objectives
- Identify where rule-based testing, machine learning, and generative AI can support finance compliance, and describe their limitations.
- Assess data, access, and workflow readiness for AI in NetSuite, including the evidence needed to evaluate an expense-monitoring use case.
- Describe controls for AI-assisted compliance work, including validation, privacy, documented review, and escalation, using AIVER as a case example.
