Anup Singh

As Chief Financial Officer at Illumio, Anup is responsible for Illumio’s financial, legal, IT, real estate and workplace services, revenue operations and business strategies. He brings over 30 years of experience leading global growth and financial operations in the technology industry.

Prior to Illumio, Anup was EVP and CFO of Anaplan, an enterprise cloud planning software company. Previously, Anup was CFO of Nimble Storage, where he led the company through a successful IPO and acquisition by HPE. Before Nimble, Anup served as CFO at Clearwell Systems (acquired by Symantec) and CFO at Warranty Corporation of America (an Asurion company).

Anup has been recognized as CFO of the Year by both Financial Executives International (FEI) and FEI Silicon Valley in 2017-18 and Finalist for the Bay Area CFO of the Year in 2014. He holds BA and MA Honors degrees in Economics and Management Science from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Passionate about helping address one of the world's largest unmet energy challenges. Serve as the CFO for QuantumScape (NYSE:QS) where I lead the finance and enterprise systems teams. Have held multiple roles in the past decade at QuantumScape including product management, operations management, and marketing. Background in finance from Bain Capital (Boston) and management consulting from McKinsey (Seattle, Sydney) with internships at the US Department of Energy (Washington DC), energy conglomerate Ultrapar (Sao Paulo), TechnoServe (Accra), and Kleiner Perkins backed CreditEase (Beijing). Stanford MBA and MS in Environment & Resources. Arjay Miller Scholar & Siebel Scholar Finalist. Stanford Public Management Program alumnus.
